To apply for a Spanish student visa, the course must meet specific criteria, including:

  • A minimumduration of 4 months
  • 15–20 hours of classes per week
  • Enrolment in an accredited language school
  • Official confirmation of registration before starting the visa process

NIE

If your stay in Spain is longer than 6 months, you will need to apply for a NIE (Foreigner Identification Number) once you arrive in the country.
