Our philosophy
BCNLanguages is the place where language learning means more than language learning, it means knowledge of a culture and openness of our environment to different realities, in a world where understanding of diversity is becoming more and more essential.
All of the staff of BCN are working in the belief that languages are living entities, that they must be learned in a contextualised way, in their time, and so we are making sure that their teaching and our methodology reflect the palpitation of the discovery of a new language, of a new reality. We understand that more than studying a language is the practice of a language, so that we place particular emphasis on the communicative part, so that our students see real evolution in their fluency.
The School
Our school in Mallorca is in Avinguda Alemanya, 3 (next to the Court). We are in the city center and most of bus lines stop right in front of the school. We offer modern, well-light and well-equipped facilities. In our library you can find graded readers and films in O.V and you can also access to the Internet. We offer a wide range of timetables so that all of our students can choose when to come to class. We are open Monday to Friday from 9.00 to 21.30 and Saturdays from 9.45 to 13.15. We are in the city centre, well connected with public transport (buses, metro, taxis, bicipalma…) Bus lines: 1, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 15, 25, 41, 46.
What do we offer
We offer you the possibility to study a wide range of languages: English, German, French, Italian, Catalan and Spanish for foreigners. Our priority is to give personal attention to each of our students and to accomplish the learning objectives. We achieve this thanks to the quality of the classes and the work of our teachers. From this academic course 2015-1016 we are Cambridge Examination Centre and we offer the possibility to prepare and do your Cambridge exam (FCE, CAE and CPE) in our school.
